If so, Dayforce is looking for a professional bilingual (English/French) Sr. Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging learning programs.The Instructional Designer role is responsible for the design and development of training content for Dayforce customers and employees. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts to define required learning objectives and rapidly develop or oversee the development of course materials to support them. They will create courses and learning materials for eLearning and virtual classroom delivery for a global audience. This position operates in a dynamic environment with regular introductions of new product functionality, processes, and changes to methodologies.What you’ll get to doDesign and develop learning content to engage learners and facilitate behavior change. Learning content may include eLearning, student and facilitator guides, job aids, hands-on activities, and PowerPoint presentations.Consult with business leaders and subject matter experts to design complex, multi-course training programs.Translate training needs into learning objectives and select appropriate strategy for optimal learner experience.Identify and effectively use multiple internal and external resources for complex course development.Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.Create supporting instructional material/media (audio, video, simulations, games).Create formal and informal evaluations to maximize retention, assess learning, and measure course effectiveness.Build and maintain training databases for basic hands-on activities and case studies.Collaborate with colleagues on initiatives to support corporate goals.Skills and experience we valueBilingual in English and French.Formal training in instructional design or related field plus 5-10 years related work experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent critical thinking skills, readily analyzing and transforming source content into learner-centered, performance-based training.Ability to research and quickly learn new things.Ability to learn and work independently and know when to seek help.Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of subject matter experts.In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.Experience documenting or developing training for technical software applications.Extensive experience with a variety of content development tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Camtasia, Vyond.What would make you really stand outWorking knowledge of at least one HCM industry (workforce management, payroll, benefits, talent management) a plus, but not required.What’s in it for youDayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
