For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the United States or Canada.About the opportunityThe Go-to-Market (GTM) team at Dayforce is part of Revenue Operations organization, which includes Sales, Advisory & the Dayforce Partner Network. The GTM team holds responsibility for annual planning and Sales Strategy, encompassing:Target-settingRefining segmentation, capacity allocation, and coverage modelIdentifying, scoping and prioritizing GTM pivots to accelerate growthDesigning and piloting new Revenue Org roles and/or motionsDefining the responsibilities and rules-of-engagement among the multiple functions in the Revenue Org “value chain”This team is about bridging Strategy and Execution: As a close collaborator with Corporate Strategy and Sales leadership, the GTM team works to translate the long-range vision into concrete goals for the year to come. As a close collaborator with Finance, HR, IT and other Revenue Ops functions (e.g. head of Sales Operations), the GTM team builds & launches a plan to achieve those goals.Aside from annual planning, the GTM team influences longer-term strategic objectives, product launches, tech stack strategy and executes ad-hoc initiatives for the Executive Operating Committee (EOC).This position, reporting to the VP of Go-to-Market, is a critical player in shaping the growth strategy for Dayforce and in defining goals & roles across the Revenue organization.What you’ll get to doServe as a thought-partner and trusted advisor to Revenue functional leaders in evaluating strategic opportunities within the annual planning cycle.Lead the design and execution of transformational initiatives within our GTM Strategy (e.g., segmentation, verticalization, Ideal Customer Profile etc).Drive high-visibility operational changes impacting the Revenue organization (e.g., post-merger integration).Own a portfolio of projects across the GTM mandate on an ongoing basis as well as supporting junior team members with direction and sizing of their projects.Conduct in-depth analysis of our business and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify growth opportunities.Develop insights for executive-level presentations on how to allocate our resources (quota, headcount, territory) for highest ROI.Partner with our Strategy function to refine our region & segment focus, product pricing & packaging, priority industry verticals, etc.Partner with functional teams within the Revenue “value chain” to identify & resolve misalignment and drive change.Define & monitor KPIs, in partnership with the Enterprise Data Management PBI team, as well as stakeholder feedback to iterate on the plan in-year and/or inform the next planning cycle.Execute one-off strategic initiatives critical to accelerating growth, market leadership, and scale.Skills and experience we valueBachelor’s degree required, MBA strongly preferred.Must have 10+ years total work experience (B2B SaaS strongly preferred).Must have experience working on go-to-market or strategic topics within a Revenue function at a scaled (>$100M Rev) organization.Must have management consulting experience to the Engagement Manager or Principal level, and mastery of the consulting toolkit (analytical skills, MECE problem-framing, hypothesis-testing, stakeholder-management, production of executive-ready deliverables).Demonstrated responsibility for decision-making with a material financial impact to an organization.High level of technical aptitude and capacity for systems thinking.Strong executive presence – this is a high-visibility role where success will depend on gaining the trust of senior executives.Outstanding organization, planning and prioritization skills demonstrated through past activities.High EQ, with demonstrated ability to foster communication, collaboration, and alignment across teams.Ability to make trade-offs and manage potential conflict and disagreement at various levels.Intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and solid business acumen and decision making.What’s in it for youDayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
