Software Engineer

We’re hiring a Software Engineer for our Mortgage Analytics team and our Incentive Compensation team! As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a high-performing Agile development team focused on problem solving, development sprints, and innovative product development. You will work with and support other Software Engineers, applying training in information technology and computer programming to the design, modification, and maintenance of applications programs. Our tech stack includes: .Net, C#, Angular, React, Vue.JS, SQL. We’re looking for a top-notch problem solver with at least 2+ years of software engineering experience. Join our team!Responsibilities:Learn the nCino Mortgage platform and associated applicationsParticipate fully as a member of an Agile development teamDemonstrate the ability to independently problem solve and research solutionsIndependently complete complex coding tasks as part of two-week sprint cyclesProvide careful code reviewsFollow code standards and adhere to the established development processContribute to the development of cross-team, framework-level projects with input from senior developersParticipate in design sessions with focus on suggesting solutionsUnderstand the business domain, data model, and design of the code base for the nCino productParticipate in discussions around sprint and backlog prioritization from a technical perspectiveContinually deepen your knowledge of the technologies (languages, frameworks, etc.) used by nCinoContinually deepen your knowledge of the craft of coding and designCommunicate and collaborate with your team with a concentration on learning how to facilitate collaborationBe a great teammate – carry your load, help other team mates, be flexible and adapt easily to changing product needs based on customers and the marketQualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years’ experience or combination experience, experience, & superior performanceStrong understanding of OOP concepts and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: .Net, C#, Angular, React, JavaScriptExperience with SQL database developmentExperience with web application developmentDesired:Experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Knockout, etc.Experience working with Kubernetes, AWS, CICD processesAgile software development experienceAbility to communicate and collaborate with others in a professional and respectful mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesPassion for software developmentCollaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills
