Radiation Therapist 1

Requirements for consideration:Associate degreeAmerican Registered Radiologic Technologist certification or registry eligible within one year of employmentBasic Life Support required upon start
Job Responsibilities:The Radiation Therapist communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, supervisors, and outside contacts.Responsible for treatment modalities and protocols to accurately set-up and administer radiation treatments on a daily basis.Performs simulation procedures for initial patient set-up while verifying proper functioning of linear accelerators, simulators, and Computed Tomography machines.Performs other duties as assigned.
