Radiation Therapist 2
to join the team. This position is PRN, working varied schedules/shifts as needed.Requirements for consideration:Two years as a Staff Therapist in a Radiation Therapy Department and GE simulator equipment with minimal supervision.American Registered Radiologic Technologist certification required upon start.Basic Life Support required upon start.Job Responsibilities:The Radiation Therapist 2 communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, supervisors, and outside contacts.Responsible for treatment modalities and protocols to accurately set up and administer radiation treatments on a daily basis.Performs simulation procedures for initial patient set-up while verifying proper functioning of linear accelerators, simulators, and Computed Tomography machines.Performs other duties as assigned.About Us
