UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN - Director of Finance
Location: Austin, TexasResponsibilities:Develop the annual budget and maintain/report the financial condition of the Center to the Executive Director and senior leadership.Prepare monthly financial reports and manage the accounting team.Assist leadership in making informed financial decisions and develop financial projections.Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.Administer human resources activities in accordance with university policies and programs.Supervise a human resources coordinator who provides guidance and support to employees and managers on problem resolution and policy.Process personnel and payroll transactions and maintain departmental personnel files.Review and approve all contracts, ensuring coordination and compliance with university Business Contracts Office and/or Office of Sponsored Projects.Provide overall administration and leadership for the finance team.Work with the Center's leadership team to develop strategic programs in support of the Center's mission and revenue goals.Develop and maintain team budgets with team directors.Implement technology plans for the Wildflower Center in coordination with UT technology offices and outside vendors.Ensure compliance with PCI and other IT security guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned.
