This individual will be a champion of financial discipline within the organization, and will work closely with both internal and external constituents to ensure Ascent is receiving quality goods and services for the most advantageous price. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and operational efficiencyIdentify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and reliabilityNegotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditionsOversee the procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, purchasing, and deliveryMonitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may ariseCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirementsStay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact procurementManage procurement-related internal tools and processes, including (but not limited to) purchase order (“PO”) system, travel & entertainment solution, office supplies purchasing programDraft purchasing policy and related internal documentation to educate employees on proper purchasing protocol, and manage enforcementWhat You’ll Bring

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of related experience preferredStrong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.Strong negotiation skillsStrategic thinking and decision-making abilitiesAbility to interpret contractsExperience using enterprise software tools (experience with procurement software, such as Esker, preferred)Ascent’s Competitive Benefits
