Our sales team is trained across all of our products to give our customers insights into our entire portfolio.Manager, Quality SystemsJob Description:The Quality Systems Manager will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001, AS9100, and IATF16949 standards. The individual will be responsible for MACOM’s Internal Audit program and provide direct oversight during certifying body audits.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Provide leadership and expertise to implement, improve, and maintain Aerospace and Automotive quality systems including compliance to AS9100D and IATF16949 standards.Educate cross-functional departments on the appropriate execution of QMS requirements.Direct and facilitate the implementation of new quality systems initiatives or improvements.Deploy continual improvement and problem-solving tools and practices across all levels of the organization.Assure Customer Specific Requirements are integrated into the QMS and internal audit program.Author, change, and update Management Systems Manuals and QA procedures, as applicable.Oversee and lead internal audit program, provide internal auditor training, and ensure auditor competency requirements are met.Evaluate the effectiveness of the global Quality Management System, integrating inputs from engineering, operations, and quality.Provide training on the standards and AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA) to company employees.Report to senior management on quality system results, issues, and trends.Assist in the development of the quality communications strategy across the company.Maintain and further develop knowledge of operational excellence, quality systems, and AIAG core tools to facilitate best practice across the organization.Manage Document Control Function.Skills:Change management skills, with the ability to identify areas requiring change and proactively implement change initiatives.Ability to evaluate, prioritize, project manage, and problem solve a wide variety of issues.Excellent organizational and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and coach others.Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.Ability to lead, manage, and train a diverse team to achieve high productivity.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related area.More than 10 years of proven Quality Management System implementation experience.IATF16949 and/or AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification or significant internal auditing experience to these standards.Detailed working knowledge of the AIAG core tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA).Experience in providing training on the standards and Core Tools.EEO:MACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
