Position Overview:

As a Technical Advisor in our Energy Solutions team, you will leverage your energy sector experience to provide balanced advice relating to energy policy and strategy. Your deep technical knowledge and policy framework understanding will enable you to provide expert guidance and strategic insights relating to energy opportunities in the UK and Middle East. With a focus on energy industry dynamics, policy frameworks, and strategic planning, you will translate complex issues into actionable policies and plans driving industrial development and economic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to understand their energy-related challenges and goals.

Offer comprehensive technical advice on energy policy, regulations, and strategies in alignment with the UK and/or Middle East's energy transition objectives.

Analyse and interpret complex energy data, market trends, and regulatory changes to provide actionable insights to clients.

Develop and implement tailored energy strategies that optimise resource utilisation, reduce carbon footprint, and enhance operational efficiency.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in energy technologies, renewables, and sustainable practices to provide forward-thinking recommendations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry experts to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Support the development of proposals, reports, and presentations for clients and internal teams.

Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by participating in industry conferences, workshops, and publications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven professional experience in energy consulting, policy analysis, or related roles.

Strong understanding of UK and/or Middle East energy policies, regulations, and sustainability goals.

Proven track record in developing and implementing successful energy strategies for diverse clients.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Membership or affiliation with relevant professional bodies is a plus.
