Other duties may be assigned.The essential functions include:Conducts home-based and on-site individual, conjoint, group family therapy sessions under supervision of the clinical supervisorDocuments therapy sessions based upon DMH regulationsAttends training sessions and staff meetings with program/clinical supervisorsResponsible for assessment, treatment and follow-upIs on-call to program familiesDirectly implements program protocols and guarantees that procedures are consistent with protocolsIs available to do a parenting group, or assigned group, on a rotation one evening a weekOther duties as requiredEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES:Master's Degree in a Social Service-related fieldRegistered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and valid BBS number in good standing requiredPrevious experience working with severely and emotionally disturbed children and community mental health requiredWorking knowledge of DMH programming and contract requirements is strongly preferredExperience working with underrepresented and diverse communities preferredValid California driver's license, driving record, and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrierTRAUMA INFORMED CARE (TIC):Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
