Other duties may be assigned.The essential functions include:Oversee therapists and lead therapists for residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Personnel and training compliance including recruitment and monitoring job performances and clinical supervisionProvide BBS required individual, triadic, and group supervision as neededProvide oversight for all clinical documentation assigned to supervisees (e.g. commercial admit/concurrent, discharge clinicals, full assessment, treatment plan, progress notes, etc.)Provide clinical leadership and oversight across departments to ensure high quality care and coordinationProvide on-call crisis support on a rotating basisOversee crisis intervention documentation for all programsProvide training within direct report team as well as to new hires as indicatedOversee the clinical charts and assure compliance with insurance/contractors and agency paperwork.Attend external meetings/conferences on specific needs as identifiedCoordinate directly with insurance companies and third party companies to ensure client approval for care and ongoing utilization reviews as neededAssist in the coordination of the program's clinical chart review processAttend supervisors' meeting and participate in program and policy development as needed.Other duties as required.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES:Master's degree in social welfare or counseling from an accredited college or university. Licensed, experience post licensure, 2 years requiredExperience working with communities from diverse SES backgroundsExperience working with both DMH and Commercial health plans preferredKnowledge of and acts in accordance with prevailing governmental laws and regulations regarding the provision of mental health services, including confidentiality and limits thereof, the reporting of child abuse/neglect, and related regulationsKnowledgeable of and acts in accordance with ethical and professional standards established by appropriate professional organizations, whether or not the individual is a member of any such organizationValid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrierTRAUMA INFORMED CARE (TIC):Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
