eClinicalWorks Practice Management Trainer

to join our Miami-Fort Lauderdale, FL team.About the RoleThe eClinicalWorks Practice Management Trainer is responsible for leading application training sessions to a wide range of health professionals for outpatient clinics and medical practices. This role will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving application issues with the customer’s staff and staying current with eClinicalWorks (eCW) Practice Management functionality. The EMR Trainer will be asked to update training materials and implement innovative ways to enhance the effectiveness of clinical education.Primary Duties

Ensure end users are appropriately trained in the Practice Management components of eClinicalWorks to enhance productivity and the delivery of patient care and practice operations.Plans the development and execution of training sessions for core system/application functionality of eClinicalWorks Practice Management. Provides facilitation and coordination of training sessions: Orientation, Advanced, Refresher classes, Helpful Hints, and Frequently Asked Questions.Collaborates with the customer and GuideIT staff in the areas of planning, development, preparation, and implementation of eClinicalWorks Practice Management.Participates as necessary in ensuring the integrity and availability of information through proper testing and validation of the Practice Management components of eClinicalWorks.Conduct classroom style and/or one-on-one training with end users virtually or in person.Provides go live and post go live support to assist end users with understanding and appropriate use of the Practice Management components of eCW.Observe users in their environment to identify areas for improvement and suggestions for workflow redesign.Maintain knowledge of customer’s standard configurations and clinic specific templates and customizations.Facilitate and provide support to resolve user issues, problems, and requests in a timely manner.Act as the subject matter expert for eClinicalWorks Practice Management to ensure training quality and consistency.Provide end user support and actively participate in shadowing and mentoring activities at customer sites.Assist with coordinating requests by facilities for system modifications and enhancements.Maintain an issue knowledgebase to document specific training issues related to eClinicalWorks Practice Management.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Required Skills

Hands on working knowledge of eClinicalWorks Practice Management functions.Hands on working knowledge of medical practice Revenue Cycle operations (Billing, Claims, Collections).2-5 years of experience implementing and/or support eClinicalWorks Practice Management in outpatient clinic/medical practice settings.1-3 years of training experience providing eClinicalWorks Practice Management training is a plus.Demonstrates the ability to align presentation tools with an audience to ensure effective communication and has the strong desire to contribute to organizational learning/training objectives.Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, and maintain a positive attitude.Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.Ability to work with minimal supervision and maximum accountability.Exceptional communications abilities both orally and in writing with all levels of clinical, administrative, and support staff.Has an aptitude and desire to hone various training techniques to adapt to users’ capacity to learn.Ability to evaluate and analyze features and functionality for problem resolution.Ability to document workflow design of clinical operations and identify areas for improvement.Knowledge of industry best practices related to patient and clinical workflow and associated roles.Ability to customize and configure clinical workflow and clinical best practices is a plus.Education & Certifications

High School Diploma/GED.Medical Assistant, CMA (AAMA) or LVN/LPN.Position Location & Other Requirements

Fulltime, salaried-exempt position with benefits.Miami-Fort Lauderdale, FL area (required).Monday - Friday, between 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM start time, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM end time.Position requires travel between medical practices/clinics throughout the Miami – Fort Lauderdale area.May be up walking on feet up to 8 hours per day.May need to sit for up to 2-6 hours per day.Light to moderate work with full range of body motion including reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting 30 lbs.Occasional remote/virtual days, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.More About GuideITHeadquartered in Plano, Texas, our services and solutions are designed to align technology with business outcomes, maximize value through cost management, and allow rapid, proactive response to change.
