The eClinical Works Training and Support Specialist is responsible for the effective development and support of the eClinicalWorks EMR system, comprehensive training, and technical support to end-users. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows and IT expertise to ensure that healthcare providers and staff can utilize the eCW system efficiently and effectively in their daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Supports and implements the organization's vision, mission, and valuesProvides comprehensive training and technical support to end-usersFacilitates training sessions, assists with system implementation, troubleshoots technical issues, and ensures efficient utilization of EMR softwareOptimizes the EMR system's functionality and user experienceConducts group or individual training sessions to educate end-users (existing employees and new hires) on eCW functionalities, workflows, and best practicesDevelops and updates training materials, including user manuals, guides, and presentationsCoordinates with all departments to implement documented workflows to be trainedEvaluates current processes to improve efficiency and quality, and ensures consistency of methods and practices at each siteProvides guidance on system configuration, access rights, and security protocolsFunctions as EHR/EMR super user performing admin tasks such as adding, deleting, or modifying employees, offices, visit note templates, letter templates, provider schedules, audit management, e-prescription setup (medications, pharmacies), creating custom reports, and other admin related tasksIdentifies opportunities to enhance user experience and streamline workflows within the EMR system and remains abreast of new functionality and system changesActs as a liaison between clinical, front office, administrative, and informatics technology teamDevelops strategies and best practices to incorporate into future information systems and policiesMaintains knowledge of the Uniform Data Set (UDS)Perform other duties, as assignedQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Healthcare Informatics; minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with electronic medical/health record (EMR or EHR) systems, or the equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in delivering training sessions or providing technical support in a healthcare settingStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issuesStrong technical and numerical skills with advanced Excel skillsCertification in eClinicalWorks preferred
