The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal representation to clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence or misconduct. This role involves handling personal injury cases, advocating for client rights, and ensuring fair compensation. The candidate should have 1-3 years of plaintiff personal injury experience, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, and be admitted to the Georgia State Bar.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases, advocating for their rights and seeking fair compensation.Conduct thorough evaluations of personal injury cases, reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.Interview clients to gather necessary information and assess the strength of their claims.Offer legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and legal options.Perform legal research to support case strategies and stay informed about relevant laws and regulations.Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court, including trials, hearings, and settlement conferences.Collaborate with experts such as medical professionals, accident reconstruction specialists, and economists to build strong cases.Maintain accurate and organized case files, including all relevant documents, correspondence, and evidence.Keep clients informed about case progress and respond promptly to their inquiries.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming for maximum compensation.Stay updated on changes in personal injury law through seminars, workshops, and professional development.Requirements1-3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Georgia State Bar and in good standing.In-depth knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and legal procedures in Georgia.Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and other parties.Outstanding negotiation and advocacy abilities.Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at time management.Proficiency in legal research and case management software.Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet deadlines.Trial experience and a track record of successful verdicts and settlements are preferred.Strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional legal services.Company infoDescriptionThe Regional Vice President, MarketPoint will lead the East Region of the Field Sales team, reporting to the VP of MarketPoint Field Sales.
