We are a small team, so this role will provide the right person with unmatched exposure and visibility into the inner workings of a growing VC studio developing early-stage healthcare technology companies. If you are excited by entrepreneurship and startups, driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment, and want exposure to venture and the internal operations of growing businesses, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • Work in partnership with the Chief of Staff to structure the Managing Partner's priorities, preparation, and follow-up for meetings in a timely and efficient fashion.
  • Handle all travel arrangements, including transportation, lodging, obtaining visas, passport renewals, and all other travel documents. Book dining reservations, providing recommendations, and continually optimizing for time.
  • Oversee expense management, submitting expenses and travel reimbursements on a regular and timely schedule adhering to company policies.
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to ensure support of the executive committee meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions are addressed.

What You Bring to the Role
  • Work experience in an Executive Assistant role working closely with business operations, strategy, and/or project management at a VC fund, technology company, financial institution, or start-up.

  • Strong communication and writing skills, often over communicating to ensure nothing slips through the cracks and effectively navigating ambiguity.
  • Highly strategic thinker, capable of looking at existing processes, systems, and workflows. Constantly thinking of ways to improve to make the organization more efficient and effective.
  • A self-starter with a "no-task-is-too-small-or-big" mindset.
  • When faced with something unfamiliar, you are happy to ask questions and think creatively to find ways to deliver results.
  • The right individual will pay meticulous attention to detail while having to shift between tasks and priorities on a regular basis.
