This position is responsible for driving value to the company by supporting Sourcing & Procurement’s leadership and Category Managers with sourcing initiatives, through executing any or all parts of the sourcing process. The majority of a Sourcing Specialist’s day-to-day responsibilities will include sourcing, negotiating, and contracting activities. The level of engagement of the specialist on sourcing initiatives can range from support of team members on high-complexity/-risk/-value, to independently executing low-complexity/-risk/-value.Key Responsibilities

Responsible for leading and managing sourcing initiatives in alignment with category strategies and business initiatives.Perform standard RFx process and negotiate contracts and purchases for standard goods and services.Drive value through executing sourcing initiatives according to and aligned with category strategies and business priorities as assigned by managers.Facilitate the sourcing process according to the standard HA sourcing processes, including the development of RFx packages, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and authoring.Facilitate stakeholder and supplier communications throughout the sourcing process.Analyze supplier proposals and facilitate source selection.Identify opportunities for improved spend or transaction management.Process requisitions at defined approval thresholds.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.3 years of total experience within any of the following areas: Procurement, Contract Administration, or Vendor Contract Management.Developing professional expertise, applying company procedures and best practices to execute sourcing, developing supplier contracts, and driving contract negotiations.Able to run RFx events independently and negotiate standard commercial contract terms.Strong proficiency in Excel and other database and analysis tools.Exhibits high ethical standards and is trustworthy of maintaining confidentiality.Preferred Qualifications

Experience with DocuSign CLM, Quickbase, and/or PeopleSoft Financials.Degree in Supply Chain or Business related fields or supply chain certification (e.g. ISM, CSCMP).Identifies and/or supports process and procedure changes in a highly matrixed organization.Experience presenting information clearly and concisely.About Hawaiian Airlines
