The Merage School Future Leaders Initiative (FLI) guides, inspires, and empowers high school and community college students from Southern California's underserved communities. A community outreach and certificate program consisting of remote and in person courses, FLI focuses on delivering a tailored business education, providing access to financial literacy courses, with the goal of encouraging university enrollment, increasing college readiness and preparing students for careers at the intersection of business, technology and entrepreneurship. The Future Leaders Initiative leverages UCI's state-of-the-art educational resources, the expertise of globally renowned faculty and leading-edge curricula to offer hands-on mentorship and professional training in these crucial academic areas.

Your Role on the Team

The Program Director, Merage School Future Leaders Initiative (FLI) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and strategic advancement of the FLI program. This multifaceted position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage administrative responsibilities, plan and execute events, and develop strategic initiatives to enhance donor relations, expand program reach, and support the growth and sustainability of the program.

This is a six-month, 50% time Contract position with some onsite work expected each week.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $40.90- $45.00 (Hourly).

Required:Excellent organizational skills and knowledge of administrative, budgetary, and financial principles and practices.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong ability to think creatively and independently on concepts requiring advanced analytical skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups to achieve results.Strong ability to work collaboratively with internal and external peers and managers.Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training3-5 years experience in administrative/logistical support, event planning, and strategic development.

Preferred:Solid fundraising experience.Proven experience in logistical support, event planning, and strategic development.Familiarity with classroom management software and social media content development is a plus.
