Patient Experience Analyst

will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining patient experience data reports. This position will provide support for the patient experience division through the alignment and reporting of data. Develops and maintains standard formats to promote the consistent display, interpretation, and presentation of data. Reviews and understands patient experience data and uses this data to provide training to staff.Duties of the Patient Experience Analyst may include the following but are not limited to:Coordinate and support patient experience projects, meetings, and databases.Trends, monitors, drills down, and analyzes findings to determine areas of opportunity and provides a summary of those findings. Interprets results using a variety of techniques.Participates in meetings with interdisciplinary team members to explain reports, leverage strengths, gain insights, and motivate staff.Assist patient experience team in managing survey process.Collaborate with IT and Quality to maintain Patient Experience dashboard.Trains individuals and groups on accessing data and reports in databases.Provides technical assistance and user support regarding patient experience databases.Provides custom reports as needed.Troubleshoot patient experience issues and assist in providing solutions.Perform additional duties as needed and under the direction of CPEO.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business or a health care related field.Proficiency in data analysis and an understanding of patient experience development and methodology.At least 2 years of relevant experience in data management and analysis, with focus on quality management and performance improvement.Superior analytic and communication skills.Expertise in spreadsheet and database software packages such as Microsoft Excel.Proven ability to support projects to successful completion with sustainability.Collaborative, approachable, and passionate about patient experience.Strong critical thinking skills and ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task.Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree.Experience with Press Ganey and or other methods of collecting patient feedback.Experience with process improvement methods.Experience engaging employees with patient experience data.Experience in data visualization software such as Tableau.Experience working in an Academic Medical Center.Special Notes:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $78,030 - $85,833 / year.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents SBUH’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.In addition, all UUP positions have an additional $3,400 for location.
