About the Position:Our client, a dynamic Chicago law firm, is actively seeking a litigator to join its thriving commercial litigation practice as a mid-level associate. The person in this role will have direct partner and client contact, courtroom exposure, and business development opportunities.Highlights:· Collaborative work environment· Opportunity for a strong, hands-on practiceResponsibilities:· Work on all aspects of commercial litigation, from pre-trial discovery through trial· Draft substantive motions, pleadings, and briefs, and take and defend depositions· Establish, grow and maintain relationships with new and existing clientsRequired Qualifications:· 5 or more years of complex commercial litigation experience at a large or mid-size firm· Experience with discovery, motion practice, oral argument, and handling large-scale document productions· Excellent writing skills· Strong academic credentialsLocation:Chicago, ILPosition Type
