We are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in our Detroit or Chicago office. Roland Berger is currently working in a hybrid environment.

Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in our Detroit or Chicago office. Roland Berger is currently working in a hybrid environment.
This role will report to the Director of Finance and provides a great opportunity to grow your career and be part of a passionate team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the financial reporting and statement preparation of multiple entities in North America and ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
- Responsible for the general ledger maintenance of multiple entities, including accruals, posting of JE's, and fixed assets
- Responsible for the federal and state corporate tax positions for the North America region
- Assist tax advisors in the preparation of tax statements
- Responsible for the financial audits of multiple entities in North America
- Support in the preparation of KPI's and operational reports
- Assist Manager with operational, administrative, and accounting tasks
- Works with the broader accounting team on other accounting related topics as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA preferred)
- At least 4+ years' experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail
