Tecolote Research is seeking an experienced Cost Analyst to join our National Capital Programs Group. This is a full-time onsite position at Joint Base Anacostia/Bowling in Washington, DC and requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility. The expected salary range is $70,000 - $130,000 and is dependent on a variety of factors, including total years of relevant experience, academic achievement, and relevant professional certifications. Responsibilities
As a Cost Analyst, you will be supporting the U.S Navy across a portfolio of critical programs by developing cost estimates and models, performing cost analysis, and analyzing vendor proposals to support contract negotiations and awards. You’ll be required to analyze and integrate large datasets from a variety of sources in order to develop well documented and defendable estimates. The cost models you utilize and develop will support a variety of supplemental efforts, including What-If analysis, Business Case Analysis, and budget requests. The analysis and recommendations you present will enable senior leadership to make critical strategic decisions. Skills Required
Must Have: Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing cost estimating or financial/business case analysis Familiarity with industry standard EVM analysis tools (Microsoft Excel, ACEIT, etc.) B.S in Economics, Business, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) field Willingness to work full-time onsite in a classified environment Excellent communication and presentation skills Nice to Have: Experience supporting DoD Program Offices Experience working in a classified environment Familiarity with FAR/DFAR and GAO/DoD Cost Estimating Guides Project Management Professional (PMP) International Cost Estimating and Analysis (ICEAA) Certification Advanced Degree (MBA, etc.) Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences. Employment Details
