ContractJob Description – Advertising Sales RepresentativeDivision / Department: MarketingReports to (position): Sales and Partnership ManagerLocation: ChicagoEmployment Type: Full Time, ExemptWork Conditions: Office EnvironmentTravel: Up to 25%Telecommute: NoMinimum Educational Req: Two or four-year college degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in the area of marketing or a related fieldYears of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred; or 3-5 years of similar experience.Position Summary:The Advertising Sales Representative is responsible for selling and executing upon a B2B revenue-generating channel that includes program creation, product growth, advertising sales, affiliate development, and overall channel management.Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:Help to create, sell, and manage a suite of revenue-generating products for Polinfo Global that provide benefits for visitors to our site, email recipients, podcast listeners, etc.Develop and maintain affiliate relationships with partners that allow us to offer new products to our students while generating additional revenue for Polinfo GlobalProspect for qualified regional and national businesses and present and close appropriate marketing solutionsConsult as a strategic business partner with customers offering a variety of advertising, marketing, and audience sales solutions.Maintain and service accounts by evaluating customers needs, utilizing applicable research, making presentations, preparing written proposals, closing sales, and reporting on resultsWork with corporate marketing teams to develop support materials and execute campaignsWork with existing industry partners to develop programs and maintain partnershipsAccurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, and overachieve annual budgetsMonitor competitive media, trends across markets or client industries and identify opportunities to increase market shareProven experience in creating (prospecting, selling, closing, managing) strategic client relationships.Experience in working with key decision-makers and industry influencers resulting in successful channel penetration and increased market share.Experience developing and implementing sales and service processes and supporting metrics through sales data collection and analysisThe proven effectiveness of establishing and maintaining strong relationships resulting in collaborative strategies to drive growthIncredibly detail-oriented, with a passion for accuracy and qualityExperience managing accounts at all levelsExperience developing relationships with local and national businesses and organizationsAbility to present and develop a rapport with sales and marketing professionalsSupervisory Responsibility:This position does not supervise the work of others.Physical Requirements:The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.
