Travel 25%-40% depending on relevant experience. The position joins the Risk Informed Services division and will work with experienced professionals on the Energy & Utilities team, providing nuclear safety and reliability consulting services.ResponsibilitiesThe consulting engineer functions as part of a corporate risk management team that interfaces with multiple nuclear plant departments to implement the risk management (PRA) program. Specific tasks include:Supporting Maintenance Rule implementationAdvising work planners on scheduling maintenance activitiesMaintaining and updating configuration risk management (CRM) software modelsResponding to emergent plant risk management activitiesInterfacing with plant operations and engineering departmentsDeveloping and maintaining risk-related documentation and training materialRequirements and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering and at least 2+ years of experience in Navy nuclear or commercial nuclear power plants.
