About the PositionThe Sales Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the sales processes, data management, and collaboration within a MedTech contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) environment. This position involves coordinating with various internal departments within VitalPath to ensure the seamless execution of lead follow up, opportunity evaluation processes, pipeline development, accurate forecasting, and efficient sales operations to drive revenue growth.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with Marketing to develop top of funnel process and automation for lead follow up and nurturing.Analyze and refine sales processes and overall customer journey to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with customer service, sales, R&D, finance, and production teams to ensure smooth handovers and execution of opportunities.Implement best practices for pipeline success.Develop and execute initiatives designed to optimize sales team efficiency and productivity.Complete knowledge and experience with forecasting and opportunity management, as well as analytics in Salesforce.Oversee the collection and analysis of sales data related to contract manufacturing projects.Create and maintain detailed reports & dashboards, deployment and training documents to improve sales efficiency on team management and supporting sales growth.Utilize CRM tools to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to contract manufacturing.As a team resource, provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.Manage and optimize the use of technology tools related to contract manufacturing, including CRM systems.Develop an optimized customer journey process with CRM, utilizing automation where appropriate, to enable business decision-making based off of pipeline data.Provide training and support to the sales team on the use of relevant technologies.Serve as a Salesforce.com Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing insights on how Customer Relationship Management (CRM) enhances the overall sales process through daily support and issue resolution.Collaboration with 3rd party Salesforce integrators and consulting partners.Ensure data integrity within systems.Other duties as assigned by leadership.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in sales operations within a contract manufacturing or related industry.Proficient in using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, relevant to contract manufacturing.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fun and fast-growing environment.Accountable and detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques, ERP integrations, project management tools, and APIs considered a plus.BenefitsComprehensive, Low Cost Health and Dental Insurance Plans Available.Vision Insurance.Health Savings Account with company contribution.Short and Long Term Disability.Supplemental insurances (short term disability, AD&D, life insurance, and more).Paid Time Off.Sick Time Off.Paid Holidays.401K with company match.Competitive compensation.Opportunities for career growth and advancement.VitalPath is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
