A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Corporate/Employment Counsel to join their Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in employment law at a nationally recognized law firm and possess a strong background in advising clients on various employment-related matters. This role demands a commitment to excellent academic standards, exceptional writing skills, superior organizational abilities, and a strong client-focused work ethic.Duties:Advise clients on employment-related compliance, including worker classification, wage and hour laws, immigration issues, union and collective bargaining matters, and equal opportunity laws.Draft employment agreements and separation agreements.Provide guidance on reductions-in-force and WARN Act issues.Draft and advise on restrictive covenants.Conduct employment-related due diligence and handle employment-related representations and covenants in transaction documents, as needed.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure effective resolution of employment-related legal issues.Requirements:Minimum of 4 years of employment law experience at a nationally recognized law firm.Proven experience in advising clients on employment-related compliance, drafting employment agreements, and managing employment-related transactions.Excellent academic credentials.Strong organizational skills.A client-team focused work ethic.Membership in good standing with the TX Bar or eligibility to waive into the TX Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Texas (or eligibility to waive in).Skills:In-depth knowledge of employment law and related regulations.Strong drafting and negotiation skills.Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
