This role demands exceptional academic credentials, significant law firm experience, and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on M&A transactions involving public companies, including sell and buy-side transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents.Conduct due diligence and risk assessments about M&A activities.Ensure compliance with relevant securities laws and regulations.Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients throughout the M&A process.Develop and maintain strong client relationships.Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends related to M&A and securities law.Participate in business development efforts, including networking and contributing to firm marketing initiatives.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and transactional law.Demonstrated expertise in handling M&A transactions involving public companies.Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations related to M&A.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding academic credentials.Comparable law firm experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Relevant MA Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly).Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High level of attention to detail.Effective interpersonal and client-facing skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
