WAI27825Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityWaikato Hospital is one of the largest tertiary hospitals in the country, and we are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our friendly, dedicated team. We are seeking a medical radiation technologist to join our CT department on a fixed term basis to cover 12 months parental leave. We require someone with previous CT experience to fill this role.The radiology department has a staff of approximately 130 and provides a full range of imaging modalities including CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, vascular/interventional radiology, and conventional x-ray. You will be working across a variety of shifts, on a 24-hour roster and will involve working on call duties, including the weekends.Key responsibilities of the role:Provide high quality diagnostic imaging in a timely mannerDeliver safe, respectful, effective and efficient patient care and optimal service deliveryParticipate in a rotating shift rosterUphold and meet registration and regulatory CPD requirementsWork as an effective team player and promote a team culture that fosters collaborative working relationshipsThe following skills and experience are required to be considered for this role:Have a full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice and current practicing certificate.Have excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsHave the ability to work autonomously and within a team environmentA commitment to improving service performanceMe pēhea te tuku tono | How to applyPlease apply online as applications are unable to be accepted via email.
