Permanent, full-time (80 hours per fortnight)Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced General Radiologist to join our Radiology department here at Waikato Hospital.Day to day you will be interpreting and reporting imaging studies including CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray. You will be reporting a broad mix of complex clinical cases across general radiology including outpatient and acute imaging.You will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teach registrars, and be involved with the continual development of high standards within the department.Key responsibilities of the role:Reporting Radiologic studiesSupervising and teaching registrarsParticipation in subspecialty multidisciplinary meetingsMinimum Requirements:Eligible for Registration as Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist with the Medical Council of New ZealandSubspecialty fellowship preferredAssess and make effective decisions under pressure in complex situations and use your own judgement to problem solveUnderstand how to use data to improve quality, performance and growthKo ngaa hua o te noho ki roto o Waikato, te mahi hoki ki Te Whatu Ora, Waikato | The Benefits of living in Waikato and working for Te Whatu Ora, WaikatoLocated in the heart of the mighty Waikato, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato operates over a number of sites, Hamilton City our main campus and smaller community-based hospitals across our region.Me pēhea te tuku tono | How to applyPlease apply online as applications are unable to be accepted via email.
