Efficient and innovative problem solving enable us to overcome challenges and build exciting technologies and products. We build impactful technologies that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.What will you do?The successful candidate will tackle a variety of projects concerning the chips themselves and their integration with other systems and platforms. We use our strong experimental and analytical skills to navigate complexity in our devices and the platforms in which they are utilized. Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages would be extremely beneficial for this role, enabling the use of data science and analytics to extract great value from our work. Teamwork and communication across a range of fields will be required, including but not limited to semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, engineering, and biology.How will you get here?Education• Advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related fieldExperience• Proven track record in research and development:• Crafting imaginative and powerful experiments and• Using data to drive decisions and determine the path forward• Extensive experience in biotechnology, semiconductors, or sensor technologies• Experience with automation or scripting of instruments or complicated experimental systemsKnowledge, Skills And Abilities• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills• Programming experience in Python or related languages, or the eagerness to learn• Works well in multi-functional and diverse groups• Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills, including presentation of scientific results in a clear, concise, and accurate way• Strong self-motivation and a self-starter mentalityThis position has not been approved for relocation assistance.Compensation And BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $115,000.00-$150,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
