AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

The Data Path HAL team is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join us in building the next generation of networking products. You’ll have the opportunity to work on the technologies that power the world’s largest cloud provider, in a dynamic, open, fast-paced environment.

In this role you will be leading tasks involving peers from multiple disciplines, while enjoying every step of the journey. You will have the opportunity to work on the heart of the network engine, at the world’s largest cloud provider, in a dynamic, open, fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of experience with embedded SW developmentFluent in CExperience with HW/SW interfaces at both the board and chip levelElectrical/Computer Engineering graduate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Deep understanding of computer architectureExperience with SoC development life cycleExperience working in Linux environmentsPersonal characteristics: Team player, highly motivated and committed, passionate about SW development, a fast learner, and willing to work in a dynamic environment
