Specifically, we are growing our Sustainability practice to drive end-to-end sustainability solutions in real estate, from site selection to decommissioning. In this role, you will work with one of our high-profile clients, acting as an embedded extension of their in-house Sustainability Team. As a member of the JLL Sustainable Operations Team, reporting to the Global Program and Integration Lead, you will own optimization of the portfolio with respect to effective sustainability performance.  This role requires a programmatic approach to drive consistency in assessment, ideation, program/team calibration, and reporting.This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least 3 days per week.What this job involvesProviding strategic direction on energy, water, waste reduction initiatives in concert with targets and key performance indicatorsLeading a team of regionally based sustainable operations analysts to generate value-add data insights used to inform decision-making processesCommunicating complex information in accessible ways to ensure timely actions that support improved performanceWorking with other sustainable operations team members to develop, maintain, and improve upon program components and performance targets for regional operations implementationUnderstanding the implementation of sustainability across the life cycle of commercial real estate, including critical stakeholder roles, strategic decision-making, and how to leverage data tracking and monitoringAdvising on opportunities and innovations for improved sustainability performanceKey responsibilities include:Lead and manage the sustainable operations analysts and ensure consistent processes and delivery across the teamDevelop and maintain documented processes to show sustainability performance data inputs/outputs, information flow, key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring and measurement components, ideation pipeline, and team/client review-approval processContribute to the client corporate sustainability strategy and drive performance improvement opportunitiesProvide strategic direction and guidance on energy, water, waste performance data results and trends, including project recommendationsAnalyze utility performance data and be able to normalize for weather or occupancy Own, and improve upon, sustainability data management, and resolve data quality issues when observedEstablish strong working relationships with account and client teams to ensure comprehensive support and leadershipSet and steer SME program components and performance targets to continuously improve performanceReview sustainability project / pilot plans prior to launch for accuracy, recommending calibrations where needed to ensure outcomes align with performance improvement objectivesMonitor and verify completed sustainability projects / pilots for effectivenessWork with sustainable operations team to track and communicate success stories to ensure a high level of awareness and engagement is achieved with regard to the overall sustainability program and client’s successDemonstrate innovative thinking and proactive management in bringing new ideas and solutionsIdentify opportunities for enhancing systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance, and use of utility/sustainability management systems for monitoring and/or reporting purposesDevelop and manage internal and external surveys, with results effectively summarized and prepared for communication, along with key recommendations for actionsProvide SME input and own program components (e.g., content development, maintenance) related to SME areaDevelop measurement and verification (M&V) framework for all implemented conservation opportunitiesSound like you?
