Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to
lead
our technical team supporting a Federal customer in its digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the enterprise architecture that underpins the data and information modernization initiatives.Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework that aligns with strategic goals and IT modernization efforts.Lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-wide IT systems and infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of various IT components, including cloud technologies, cybersecurity measures, and data management systems.Provide expert guidance on technology selection, system integration, and best practices in enterprise architecture.Develop and maintain the Information Architecture and Data Dictionary.Contribute to the creation and refinement of IT roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.Assess current IT systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative solutions.Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and regulations in all architectural decisions.Mentor and provide technical leadership to other IT professionals within the organization.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in enterprise architecture roles.Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure.Experience with data modeling, business process engineering, and systems integration.Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and relevant compliance standards.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong leadership and project management skills.Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.Key Competencies
