Provisio’s SLT IVUS technology, which is incorporated into the type of catheters that physicians are already using, is designed to revolutionize interventional therapies by giving physicians the exact information that they need, when they need it, while enhancing procedural workflow. SLT IVUS is a novel implementation of ultrasound that enables real-time measurement of blood vessels to aid in the selection of appropriate therapeutic stents and balloons and confirm treatment results. With the company’s recent FDA clearance, the company is rapidly expanding its operations.General Position Summary

Provisio Medical seeks a talented accounting professional to lead and develop the accounting processes for a fast-growing medical technology company. The ideal candidate will have experience with early-stage growth, manufacturing, and commercial scale-up, establishing policies and procedures and regulatory compliance.We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also has a strong desire to build and lead a department. This is a full-time in-office role for a ControllerLead, develop and improve the monthly / quarterly / annual close processes for a fast-paced, rapidly growing companyResponsible for financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties.Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and proceduresAnalyze the effect of current and new accounting practices, guidance and regulations to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Serve as key point of contact for external auditors; manage preparation and support of all external auditsResponsible for cost accounting: ensure accuracy of labor, material, and manufacturing overhead costs and physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain adjustments.Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet account reconciliations.Serve as point of resolution of Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable issuesOversee the preparation and communication of quarterly and annual financial statements; ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data, including both internal reporting for management and external reportingMaintain current knowledge of organizational policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and filing requirements; responsible for sales/use tax and property tax reporting and compliance.Oversee the tax provision and tax return preparation.Other duties as assigned.Education & Experience Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required, MBA a plusCPA license requiredExperience

Minimum 7 years of experience across a mix of public accounting, corporate accounting, operations; 3 years of Controller experienceBig-4 audit experience strongly preferredManufacturing industry experience requiredPublic company experience preferred, IPO experience a plusThe ideal candidate possesses leadership and supervisory capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting skills and works proactively to drive results.Experience with QuickBooks and/or other ERP/accounting systems, ERP implementation experience a plus.Experience with Solium (Shareworks) or other stock administration software preferredMust have strong experience with Microsoft Excel.This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.Demonstrated mentoring, coaching and organizational administrative skills required.Self-managed and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities, projects and deadlines.Strong communication skills, written and verbal.Physical Requirements

HOURS/STATUS: Full-time onsite positionSALARY RANGE

Salary range of $160,000 and $220,000 based on education and experience
