Senior Staff Product Manager, Core Products,
you will deliver products and capabilities for Checkr’s core background check products, growing the quality, speed, scale, and user experience across criminal background check products.
You will play a pivotal role in differentiating Checkr’s core products and delighting candidates & customers as well as partnering closely with internal teams on fulfillment and operations.Roles and responsibilities include creating the strategy & roadmap for key areas of the core product, leading development of new product features, analyzing data and performing user research, and managing a high-performing cross-functional team that includes engineering, data, design, marketing, legal, and others.What you’ll doBuild deep understanding and empathy for external and internal users of CheckrUse data and insight to drive new product capabilitiesIdentify opportunities and drive technology improvements that result in more accurate and reliable data for customersDrive the product roadmap and strategy for a broad product surface area within our core productCollaborate with engineering and product design and product marketing to ship new, impactful featuresLead meetings with sales, product marketing, customer success, business development, customers and technology partners to deeply understand, document, analyze and synthesize customer needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications.Drive cross-functional decisions & alignment. Effectively communicate across all departments in the companyWhat you bring8+ years as a PM, with recent experience working on a SAAS, data or platform productExperience working on products at a global scale, and understanding the data, legal, and technical nuances of supporting complex productsStrong technical background to enable you to contribute meaningful features and seamless integrationExcellent user experience skills and attention to detail. You have an instinct for good product design and an understanding of usability best practicesAn ability to manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured wayExcellent commercial skills and attention to detail.
