A law firm in Miami is seeking a highly qualified Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess top academic credentials, strong writing skills, and litigation experience, particularly in first-party and insurance coverage litigation. Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar is required, along with experience in taking and defending depositions and attending hearings.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to insurance litigation matters.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, hearings, and mediations.Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients on insurance coverage issues.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case management and strategy.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.Manage caseload independently and meet deadlines.Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.Requirements:Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.3-5 years of experience in insurance litigation, preferably with a focus on first-party and insurance coverage matters.Excellent academic record from a reputable law school.Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.Experience in taking and defending depositions, as well as attending hearings.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of Florida civil procedure and insurance laws.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.Skills:Legal research and analysisDeposition and hearing attendanceCase management and organizationClient communication and advocacyWritten and verbal communicationTime management and multitaskingProficiency in legal research tools and software
