Primary Objectives:
  • Learn and understand the inner workings of Prodege's insights business and the many data points associated with the business
  • Collaborate with sales and operations team members to identify key business questions
  • Conduct diverse data analysis tasks
  • Identify and report significant changes to metrics over time and between segments
  • Clearly, both visually and verbally, report metrics and communicate findings

Detailed Job Duties: (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives)

The Senior Data Analyst will:
  • Collaborate closely with Insights Team leaders in Sales and Operations, as well as consult as needed with team members on Prodege's Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to identify key business questions and lead the analysis process to provide actionable insights.
  • Perform a variety of data mining and data analysis tasks including data hygiene tasks, ad hoc reporting, root cause analysis, cohort analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Become a subject-matter expert for our existing data sources and systems.
  • Actively contribute to the development of new data sources and systems.
  • Work closely with team members to provide data and analytics support and train select stakeholders on available reporting services.
  • Summarize findings and effectively communicate results to stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of the insights gained.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance data quality, efficiency, and automation.
  • Develop high quality charts, tables, graphs, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.


What does SUCCESS look like?

A successful Sr. Data Analyst, Insights at Prodege will become an indispensable member of the team by earning trust through a comprehensive understanding of the Insights business. This role involves meticulously preparing accurate metrics reports that enable smarter decision-making. The analyst will excel through close collaboration with Sales and Operations to pinpoint critical business questions and perform in-depth data analyses that uncover actionable insights. As a subject-matter expert, the individual will drive innovation by developing new data sources and refining existing ones, thereby enhancing Prodege's data capabilities. Additionally, the analyst will produce clear, high-quality reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, including senior leadership. Ultimately, the analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing data quality, efficiency, and automation, significantly boosting the company's competitive edge and operational excellence.

The MUST Haves:
  • Five or more (5+) years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.
  • Expertise in analyzing large, multivariate datasets gathered from multiple sources.
  • Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong data hygiene skills. Can easily identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while remaining detail-oriented.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Detail oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

The Nice to Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the market research, online sample/panel or insights industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM and Accounting platforms and the data within them (Hubspot, Salesforce, NetSuite)
  • Proficiency in programming languages, specifically python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dashboard modeling and creation tools.


Pay Transparency:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 depending on experience. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Prodege offers a comprehensive benefits package to US Full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and basic life insurance. Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
