Job Description:

Step into the forefront of innovation as a Lead Product Designer at client, where you'll shape the future of local pickup, transforming how millions of buyers and sellers connect and transact with ease and confidence. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge on impactful projects, orchestrating the end-to-end local pickup experience with a holistic design approach.You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, product managers, user experience researchers, content designers, and engineers all driven to redefine convenience and trust in client's three big marketplaces (DE, UK, and US). Your vision will directly influence the platform, as you report to the Senior Manager of Product Design, ensuring your designs not only meet but exceed user expectations.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with design partners to create an intuitive and simplified end-to-end local pickup experience for buyers, supported by sellers, across client's big markets (DE, UK, and US).Partner closely with a researcher(s) to identify key opportunities for improvement along both buyer and seller journeys.Design user flows, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes to visualize the user experience.Help plan and support research testing cycles in collaboration with lead user experience researcher(s) to test and iterate design proposals.Create design decks to present work at key milestones to align teams during design crits and stakeholder reviews/share outs.Work closely with other designers across teams to influence their domain areas in support of critical local pickup UI updates needed to establish a seamless experience.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience as a digital product designer.Bachelor's Degree or similar experience in Human-Computer Interaction or Communications Design/Graphic Design.Outstanding digital portfolio that demonstrates a range of interaction design work across native apps and responsive web design, as well as expert-level craftsmanship applied to the fundamentals of UI and visual design e.g., typography, layout, color, spacing, icons, etc.Experience collaborating with product owners, researchers, content designers, and engineers on large scale projects.Self-starter and autonomous with hands-on experience leading through ambiguity to build alignment and form a vision that is visualized through designs.Experience mentoring other creatives and leading design critiques to move projects forward while raising the level of craftsmanship across the project team.
