RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Senior UX Designer for a remote, contract position.
Summary:
The Senior UX Designer will be instrumental in enhancing the responsive desktop and mobile design of a key dashboard experience utilized by millions of users annually. Working closely with a dynamic team of designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers, they will leverage expertise in Figma and a collaborative approach to drive the redesign process and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Lead ideation sessions and discovery workshops to explore innovative design solutions and uncover user insights; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate and evaluate ideas, prioritize features, and define product direction based on user needs and business goals; Apply design thinking methodologies to inspire creativity, foster empathy, and drive informed decision-making throughout the design process.Lead a portion of the redesign effort for a responsive dashboard experience, ensuring usability and consistency across desktop and mobile platforms; Collaborate closely with the team to establish design guidelines and best practices for responsive design.Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive design solutions that bring concepts to life; Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input to continuously improve the user experience and meet project objectives.Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and gather insights from target users; Analyze test results and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and refinement.Document design decisions, user flows, and interaction patterns to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the design process; Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and recommendations.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).Minimum 5 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on responsive desktop and mobile design.Proven experience working collaboratively with product teams, including product management, engineering, and research.Strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and design solutions for responsive web and mobile applications.Expertise in Figma, with proficiency in creating high-fidelity prototypes and design systems.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in an agile environment.Prior experience working as a contractor or in a freelance capacity is a plus.The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested, and determinable.
