Description
We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Programmer/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to deliver actionable insights and drive business performance.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs.Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop data models, ETL processes, and dashboards to support them.Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.Optimize and fine-tune existing BI solutions to improve performance and scalability.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI applications and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions into business processes and workflows.Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.Proven experience as a business intelligence analyst, data analyst, or similar role.Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.Experience in managing and maintaining CRM databases, including data cleansing, deduplication, and normalization.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality BI solutions.Experience with Snowflake is a plus.Experience with Informatica is a plus.Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques is a plus.Certification in relevant BI tools or technologies is a plus.Experience Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles.Demonstrated success in designing and developing BI solutions that meet business requirements.Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business value through data-driven decision-making.Experience with data quality and data standardization best practices.Experience in data governance and stewardship principles.Skills
