Are you a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst with IT/digital marketing teams, and management/leadership experience? Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join their Corporate Digital Marketing team. The Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will work under the guidance of the Sr. Content Platform Product Owner, Business Analyst Manager, and collaborate with IT and the Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading the Quality assurance team, design, development, implementation and execution of quality assurance plans for our website and develop test scripts using industry standards. You will communicate and discuss any website issues and enhancement on a constant basis with the internal development team, digital marketing manager and other stakeholders.

You Will:

Use formalization and implementation of strategy, goal, and road maps for quality assurance in the short, and long-term futureHave excellent analytical organizational and influencing skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and participate in all team scrum activitiesIdentify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvementOwn the identification and escalation of any issues or risks within the testing work streamOversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans, automated/manual, functional/integration/regression test cases and validation procedures using a trace-ability matrix to ensure adequate test coverage throughout the development lifecycle for Web, Mobile, API and Desktop applicationsOptimize test cycle efficiency and add test automation into the continuous delivery pipeline; establish QA acceptance criteria for test plansLead the Test Automation transformation by incorporating a Testing Center of Excellence, framed by best practices and well-defined workflows and by regulating the governance of Test Automation across departmentsReport on progress of the overall test prep/execution to leadership/stakeholdersConduct onboarding of Quality Assurance Analysts and Automation Engineer ResourcesMentor and empower a team that focuses on both quality and development efficiencyManage the Quality Assurance Team and Quality Assurance ToolsLead testing efforts on assigned projects ensuring that each defect is managed to resolutionPrepare test plans, test scripts, and release documentationExecute test scripts and test cases and reporting and tracking of results/issuesParticipate in or support various testing phases including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptanceSupport both planned and emergency issues or releasesWork closely with project management and other teammates and gather requirements, assist in the design of new enhancements, functionality, and release planningWork with the digital marketing and development teams to understand functional requirementsDevelop and review test cases with internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage through unit, functional, user acceptance (UAT) and regression test cyclesDevelop thorough understanding of website functionalityProactively report any issues using a ticketing system, maintaining ownership through resolutionProvide stakeholders the necessary information to replicate problemsAssist with release and software build management activities in QA and staging environmentsImplement weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly quality maintenance plansRevise day-to-day operational tasks and/or ad hoc activitiesInvestigate any website issues that may occur and determine plan of resolutionCreate reports on issues reported and fixesHave ability to test across multiple browser and operating systemsTroubleshoot any issues that may arise and follows up until it’s resolved

You Have:

Successfully developed testing procedures by defining quality metrics and test strategiesEffectively instructed and mentored team on quality metrics and testing strategies for each projectExperience working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and multitasking through assigned tasks while paying close attention to detailExperience using test management and project management toolsDemonstrated technical acumen for troubleshooting and problem solvingDeductive reasoning skills necessary to determine the cause of issues foundUnderstanding of website operationsUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS functionalityStrong team player/collaborator qualitiesAbility to identify design flaws and make recommendations in order to have the best possible UX/UIAbility to work well under pressure and demonstrate continuous commitment to quality and serviceAbility to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex and diverse environment with multiple projects and changing demandsKnowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) a plusEffective verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and good problem solving skillsStrong leadership and organization skillsTeam-oriented, self-starter mindset and work ethic, who owns work to completion with minimal direct supervisionAbility to recommend test automation tools if requiredAbility to influence others without authority to drive decision-making and solutionsStrong logic and reasoning abilities to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systemsExperience with facilitating and executing all phases of testing (integration, regression, system, UAT)Experience with third-party applications, including but not limited to, Jira, Confluence, TestRailIn-depth knowledge of QA/testing procedures and best practices
