Job Scope:We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our software team. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for maintaining our microservices and cloud infrastructure environments, as well as creating the next generation of workflow automation software in post-production. A successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure. They will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable solutions that meet the needs of our clients and support the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain microservices-based applicationsBuild and maintain on-premise and cloud (AWS, GCP) infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform, Salt, etc.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Packer, etc.Help ensure that all infrastructure and services are secure, reliable, and scalableImplement and maintain metrics monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues before they impact our clientsParticipate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and other technical discussionsStay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure

Skills/Experience:Technical B.S. or equivalent professional experience3+ years of experience in software development and DevOpsStrong knowledge of PythonStrong understanding of microservices architecture and design patternsStrong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure as codeStrong experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelinesStrong experience with containerization and container orchestration using DockerStrong experience with monitoring and alerting systemsStrong experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsPassion for learning and continuous improvementPreferred Skills/Competencies:Previous experience in a post-production facilityFamiliarity with common post-production software APIs, such as Media Shuttle, Aspera/Faspex, ColorFront’s Transkoder, Davinci Resolve, FilmLight/BaseLight, and/or MediaPulseExperience using Media Asset Management systems such as ShotGridExperience building and maintaining VMware infrastructuresJavaScript and Vue experience

Pay Range:

$105,000 - $125,000 / Per Year
