Organization Change Management Consultant

Position DescriptionThe Organization Change Management (OCM) Business Consultant works with the OCM lead to develop, conduct, and manage change management initiatives for a variety of clients. This includes working with clients to assess their change needs, develop and implement change management strategies and plans, and measure the success of change initiatives and plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of change management principles and practices, as well as experience in working with a variety of stakeholders.The position is located in Fairfax, VA at the CGI office, but hybrid work from home, office, or client site in Washington, DC may be feasible based on contract requirements.Your future duties and responsibilities

Lead and manage change management initiatives for a variety of clientsAssist in the development and execution of change management strategies and plans to support the successful implementation of project plansConduct change impact assessments to evaluate organizational readiness for the change initiative, identifying potential risks, and opportunities for successful implementationDevelop and deliver communication and stakeholder engagement materials and plansCollaborate with project teams to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and impacts of change, integrating organizational change management activities into the overall project planMeasure and report on the success of change initiatives by developing key performance indicators (KPIs)Determine the impact of OCM programs and develop alternative strategies, as neededProvide support to clients throughout the change processWork with a variety of stakeholders, including employees, managers, and executivesDevelop and deliver change management training to clientsMentor and coach junior change management consultantsParticipate in the development of the organization's change management methodology and toolsStay up-to-date on the latest change management trends and best practicesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field5+ years of experience in change management or a related fieldStrong understanding of change management principles and practicesExperience in managing change management initiativesExperience working with clients & internal teams, following an agile methodology, to understand the business requirements and assess the change impactsAbility to identify anticipated points of resistance and work with lead/team to develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concernsExperience conducting readiness assessments, evaluating results, and presenting findings in a logical and easy-to-understand mannerExperience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and toolsExperience with ERP or SAP OCM implementationStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCritical/Analytical ThinkingDesired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

PROSCI certificationDue to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
