Roles & Responsibilities
Generate & deliver design & detailing of electrical equipment layout, cable tray layout & raceway layout, earthing, lighting layout, power layout & lightning protection layout.
Generate & deliver various electrical CAD drawings and documents as per project requirements.
Generate & deliver instrumentation drawings.
Design cable schedule & cable sizing as per load details.
Generate single line diagrams as per specifications and load details.
Generate I/O list and instrument cable schedule as per specifications and load details.
Work closely with customers to identify their challenges & provide relevant solutions in the electrical engineering area.
Generate BOM as per project requirements.
Required Skills (Technical Competency)
BE or B Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Good proficiency in AutoCAD for design & detailing for electrical engineering requirements.
Experience in designing electrical equipment layout, cable tray layout & raceway layout, earthing, lighting layout, power layout, etc.
Experience in LV & MV electrical equipment & plant engineering.
Experience in designing the layout for plant electrical engineering, including sizing of equipment and cable sizing.
Basic knowledge of power system study preferred.
Worked closely with customers in project environments.
Exposure to drives, transformers, switchgears, etc.
Good knowledge of Indian, European, US and other international standards.
Good communication skills to work with multi-cultural teams.
Desired Skills
Good exposure to plant engineering activities.
Knowledge of industrial automation.
Working with MATLAB / Simulink / PSpice.
