The Role
We are looking for an exceptionally motivated Lead Full Stack Developer to accelerate the design and development of cutting-edge web and mobile eCommerce applications across our many lines of business: retail delivery/click-and-collect (B2C), wholesale B2B, and CPG brands both via retailer (B2B2C) and D2C where allowed. The role is a foundational piece of a highly visible, business facing team focused on aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands in the cannabis industry, one of the fastest growing and most innovative industries in the US.
Responsibilities
Lead a diverse dev team of varied seniority and skillsetContribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be reviewing and writing both code and tech docsBuild and integrate client-side single page applications and server-side microservices into functional solutions that delight and engage our customersLead the design and development of modern cloud-native software, producing decoupled and highly-performant systemsLeverage cloud-native serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda to drive innovation and maximize speed to market in the software development life cycleOptimize architecture for security, scalability, reliability, and resiliencyCodify, maintain and improve testing processes to ensure high quality and maintainable code
Stack
Frontend: React, Next.js, Composable / Atomic DesignBackend: Node.js, TypeScript, ServerlessArchitecture: Microservices based, API first, Cloud-native SaaS, Headless
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive professional development, including 1+ years in a Lead capacityTrack record designing, delivering and supporting complex technical solutions across multiple dev cycles, balancing priorities and distributed teamsAbility to mentor, organize and communicate with peopleDeep technical competency and thought leadership, leveraging existing proficiencies or adopting new frameworks; eCommerce experience preferredUnit, functional and integration testing via frameworks such as Jest or SeleniumRelational and non-relational databases; functions and containers; REST and GraphQL APIsDevOps, cloud architecture and platform services on AWS, Azure or GCP

Must pass any and all required background checksMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust be a minimum of 21 years of age
