DEVOPS ENGINEER
As a DevOps Engineer at Bright Wolf, a Cognizant Company, you will be architecting and delivering the systems and tools that run and manage the systems that our Fortune 1000 clients use to derive real business value from Cognizant solutions. DevOps Engineers work collaboratively with development teams to accelerate developer productivity, create reliable and repeatable process automation tools, and help ensure highly reliable and secure production solutions. DevOps Engineers prefer automation to manual work when possible, and constantly strive to reduce the complexity and improve the quality of their workflows.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, maintain, and troubleshoot tools and pipelines for creating and managing scalable, secure distributed software systems.Foster a passion for improving product and system availability, performance, scalability, and security.Operate cloud production systems with a strong focus on monitoring and metrics to assess feature health and usage.Collaborate closely with product management and application engineers to ensure robust system design, prioritizing high availability.Lead the evaluation of new technologies and drive their integration into our technology stack.Provide support for deploying and operating multiple clusters across various client manufacturing sites and the global client business network.Assist in deploying and operating development and QA clusters within an AWS account.Manage the deployment and operation of AWS resources in multiple client-owned accounts.Streamline deployment and operational workflows through automation.Thoroughly document systems, processes, and assets to meet client expectations for business continuity.QualificationsExperience with Docker, Docker-Compose, Kubernetes, Helm, and image management.Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar system automation tools.
