Telecare San Diego's newest behavioral health program is a 24/7, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) serving individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crisis.
MCRT is creating an opportunity for Clinicians, Case Manager Master's, and Certified Peer Supports to intervene in a unique way that has never been done before in our system of care.This program collaborates and accepts referrals from the San Diego Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement.San Diego's MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management.Each team will respond to calls from the mobile crisis van to provide services directly in the field in the following San Diego Regions: Central, East, South, North Central and North Inland.

What are the qualifications? (Must Have)
Current licensure with CA BBS as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC that is valid and in good standing with the boardA Master's Degree in Social Sciences or related fieldOne (2) years of experience in providing crisis management and mental health servicesDriver's license and vehicle insurance that is current and valid with your name listed as the driverYour own personal vehicle to use for work to attend community meetings, drive on site to crisis if needed, and more.Position requires transporting Members in program van (acceptable driving record needed)
Preferred Experience
Outpatient clinic or community mental health service with two (2) years of direct clinical serviceExperience providing intensive case management and/or intensive community supports using psychiatric rehabilitation concepts
What will your role entail?
Dispatched and responds to emergency / crisis events in the community across San Diego CountyProvides onsite therapeutic interventions support to persons and families in crisisCollaborates with other First Responders as needed to provide onsite crisis support including, but not limited to, transporting members to appropriate levels of careWill act as a leader for the dispatched mobile team, providing clinical guidance and instruction to team membersWill complete a concise assessment to paint a clinical picture of the members needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendationsMaking appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services, as assignedDeveloping and maintaining an awareness of community resource
Employment Status & Shifts Available
Full-Time: 3-12 schedule w/ 1 additional 8 hour shift every other week to total 80 hours every 2 weeksMust be able to work either Saturdays or Sundays
PM: 2:30pm - 1:00am availableNOC: 9:00pm - 7:30am available
