Role Summary:
Mutual of America Capital Management is seeking an experienced Senior Investment Analyst to be part of the investment team based in New York. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the investment process and work closely with two Equity Fund Managers (Small Cap Value, Mid Cap Value and Small Cap Growth and Mid Cap Core). The analyst will be responsible for U.S.-based equity research and idea generation and will work within the Firm's investment philosophy, process, and strategy framework.

Role Summary:
Mutual of America Capital Management is seeking an experienced Senior Investment Analyst to be part of the investment team based in New York. Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently articulate equity investment ideas, comparable analysis, and sector dynamics.
- Actively participate in industry conferences and company visits.
- Lead meetings with management teams as part of the investment process.
- Conduct deep fundamental bottom-up company due diligence and actively manage holdings and ideas within a variety of sub-sectors.
- Perform thorough rigorous assessment of a company's business and financial position.
- Model relevant equities held in portfolios and produce price targets.
- Utilize quantitative screening tools to help focus research.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with company management and investor relations teams as well as industry peers.
- Generate and advocate for investment ideas based on fundamental research and deep understanding of sector trends.
- Regularly discuss relevant industry-specific developments and trends with the investment team.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as an equity analyst or relevant industry role.
- Track record of successful stock selection.
- Skillset in developing a differentiated perspective of a company based on in-depth analysis and research.
- Demonstrated ability to model company financial statements and apply valuation methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment while thinking independently.
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to communicate in a timely and relevant manner.
