About The Role:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide consistent, high-quality, direct and indirect support to the portfolio management teams. This is accomplished by managing and performing globally centralized investment-related, operational processes; responding to ad hoc requests and inquiries; and actively participating in other strategic functions and initiatives. Additionally, this role is responsible for driving continuous process improvement and automation through the implementation of efficient, scalable, risk-controlled, and well documented processes across the global Investment& Research Liaison Organization.
Role Summary:
The Investment & Research Liaison Organization supports investment teams through all stages of the client life cycle by managing investment-related, operational activities. Associates act as a conduit for investments by leveraging foundational business and technical knowledge to manage complex investment-related, operational activities.
The Strategic Support (ILSS) team's specific role is to provide business process analysis, continuous improvement, and automation support to the Investment & Research Liaison Organization as well as performing centralized processes and strategic functions in support of Investment Staff activities globally.
Responsibilities:
• Under the general guidance of senior team members and management, supports the ongoing operational activities associated with portfolio management. Example activities include determining trade execution and cash repatriation details for paper portfolio trading; monitoring and validating performance (GIPS) composites; analyzing voluntary corporate actions notices to determine if compliance test trades are required, and when needed, instructing test trades; and resolving low-to-moderately complex investment-related, operational issues independently.
• Independently and through collaboration, provides business process analysis to identify processes lacking in operational efficiency or control with the purpose of implementing efficient, scalable, and risk-controlled solutions.
• Leads small-to-medium projects and provides support to senior team members on medium-to-large projects with the intent to drive continuous improvement.
• Utilizes technical knowledge to build automation solutions to manual and risk exposed processes using Excel, VBA/Macros, Power Automate, and other technology resources.
• With guidance and oversight from senior team members and management, serves as project participant on investments-initiated projects. Develops use cases and testing plans and participates in unit testing as requested to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintains accurate and complete procedural documentation for assignments, participates in cross-training exercises, and provides operational coverage as needed for defined processes. Under the direction of senior team members and management, participates in training new employees on policies and procedures.
• May act as a resource for junior members while helping them complete operational activities.
Typical Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
• 2+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Investment Operations knowledge and experience
• Strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, VBA, Access, SQL, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query, Bloomberg)
• Experience with tools such as Duco, Alteryx, and Alkymi may be beneficial
• In-depth knowledge of T. Rowe Price's range of investment strategies, products, and services
• Understanding of corporate actions and Global Investments Performance Standards (GIPS) is beneficial
• Process and detail oriented
• Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative
• Possess a positive, problem-solving oriented attitude
• Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputations risk
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Desire to learn and take on challenges
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time

Work Flexibility: This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
