Who we are:

Union County Savings Bank is a community bank with four branches in Union County. The Bank was founded in 1883 to serve the local communities of Union County and remains strongly committed to these communities today. Currently the team at UCSB is implementing new technologies to make banking with us easier. The Bank is also rolling out new products and services designed to meet the expanding needs of our customers while preserving our 138-year pledge of security, safety and service.

The EVP/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the financial strategy, financial condition and position of the Bank. The CFO serves as the Bank' s lead financial executive overseeing and representing the Bank' s Accounting Department and all financial and accounting operations of the Bank. The position is responsible for adhering to all related generally accepted accounting principles, tax, and regulatory laws, rules, and regulations to adequately and accurately reflect the financial position of the Bank at all times.

The CFO oversees financial management operations including development of financial and operational strategies, metrics, and control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The CFO also manages the investment portfolio accounting and safekeeping.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university. A degree in business, economics, finance or related field is preferred. A master's degree in a related field is a plus. At least 7 years of senior management experience at a financial institution including 5 years as a CFO is also required. Commercial or community banking experience is preferred. CPA is preferred. Additional requirements include proven leadership ability, knowledge of governmental and financial regulations and laws, superior analytical, budgeting, forecasting and cash management skills, thorough knowledge of US GAAP, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to make sound decisions, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
