We look forward to welcoming you to the INflow team!ABOUT THIS POSITION:INflow Federal is seeking a motivated Junior Systems Administrator to ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and configuration of our organization’s computer systems. This role involves close collaboration with both on-site and remote users, offering a dynamic work environment. You will be integral in coordinating site visits, performing upgrades, resolving issues, and providing TIER 2/3 support for Unix/Windows workstations, servers, and other critical IT infrastructure.At INflow, your work is more than a job—it's a journey in innovation. Responsibilities:
System Administration: Manage desktop and server systems across local and wide area networks, including account monitoring, security, OS installations, and related tasks.IT System Support: Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution.Technical Support: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, including escalation and status communication to management and customers.Software Management: Install and load operating systems and application software, isolate and resolve hardware/software issues, and enhance system performance.Network Management: Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure network components, ensuring improved reliability and performance.Software Upgrades: Perform software installations and upgrades to Unix/Windows operating systems, maintain them per policies, and resolve software-related issues.Database Management: Manage multiple linked databases, ensuring security, data integrity, disaster recovery, and bulk data imports/exports.Maintenance Coordination: Conduct routine and emergency maintenance of data center equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance with customers.Backup and Recovery: Collaborate on the development, administration, and testing of backup and recovery plans.Security Compliance: Ensure system security per STIG guidelines using tools like Retina and HBSS.Standard Operating Procedures: Maintain operational, configuration, and other SOPs to verify system availability using existing Enterprise tools.Required Skills:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in UNIX, Windows, and/or Storage administration. Experience with trouble reporting and tracking systems like Security+.Availability: Ability to respond to after-hour calls and provide on-call support. Willingness to travel up to 20% to local and other sites.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move/carry equipment up to 40 pounds.Experience Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Technical training, certification(s), or degree in a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in systems administration or a related role.Certifications: Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).Clearance Requirements:
TS/SCI Clearance required with eligibility to obtain CI Poly.
